Privacy & Cookie Choices

Learn about FunQuizzy accounts, Google sign-in, game progress, private answers and optional analytics.

Private learner spaces

Parents can create learner profiles with generated nicknames, country and practice year. No child email or date of birth is requested. Learner study records are separate from the parent’s own practice. One-use sign-in codes expire in ten minutes. Child device sessions last up to seven days and can be revoked by the parent. Child study sessions cannot use social invitations, public scores or adult account tools. The parent can export the learner’s study records or delete the learner and their study history.

Daily adventures and friend leagues

Daily activities save answers and progress under your browser session or account. Monthly keepsakes derive from days with completed activities. Private weekly leagues store membership and results; all current members must finish before scores and ranks appear. Sharing a result or downloading a result card happens only when you choose it. League owners can replace invite codes or close a league.

Creator drafts and media

Draft owners and their selected registered collaborators can access draft questions and uploaded media. Submitted snapshots are locked while awaiting publication review. Uploaded media becomes publicly available when its submitted quiz is approved. Account export includes owned draft and media metadata; account deletion removes owned drafts, uploads and collaborator access.

Private study and weekly plans

Study Desk saves your practice questions, first answers, calculation steps, help used and session progress under your player session or account. Your skill passport is private and describes recent practice, not academic grades. Weekly plans are personal unless their organiser selects an existing linked learner or class. Active family learning links allow summaries of completed study sessions. Class organisers receive summaries for their class plans and assignments; other private study is excluded. Shared summaries do not show individual answer choices or private notes. Revoking a family link removes that access. Your account export includes your study sessions and plans you authored, and account deletion removes them.

Event Challenges

Event hosts can create a private quiz playlist and select a background or photo questions to share with joined guests. We store event settings, custom questions, guest nicknames and teams, private answers and final scores. Hosts can see which guests answered, but individual answer choices stay private; aggregated option counts appear after each reveal and rankings appear at the end. Event access expires after 24 hours, and expired records are removed when new events are created. Account export includes hosted events and your own participation. Deleting an account removes its hosted events and associated answers, and removes or anonymises that account’s participation in other events. Browser sound is optional; spoken announcements use your browser’s speech service and may speak displayed winner names.

Party Arcade games and rooms

We save solo game progress and your first Would You Rather vote using your player session or account. Party rooms store player names, submitted jokes, descriptions, story sentences and room scores so invited players can play together. Room content is visible only to joined players and expires from play after 24 hours; expired rooms are removed when new rooms are created. Solo runs older than 90 days are removed when new runs start. Account export includes your participation, and deleting your account removes your runs and votes, deletes rooms you host and removes your authored entries from other party rooms.

Accounts and game progress

Essential cookies and browser storage keep sessions and games working, remember settings and support saved progress. Accounts associate activity with your player profile. Public leaderboards and rooms can show your chosen display name, avatar, country and scores; use a display name you are comfortable sharing.

Google sign-in

If you choose Google sign-in, Google shares your name, email address and account identifier with FunQuizzy so we can create or find your player account. FunQuizzy does not request access to your Gmail inbox. Google also processes information under its own privacy policy when you use its sign-in service.

Optional analytics

Optional first-party engagement analytics stay off until you allow them. They record events such as visits and completed rounds using a hashed browser or account identifier, without names, email addresses or answers, and expire after 90 days. Optional performance measurements record loading speed (LCP), interaction responsiveness (INP) and layout movement (CLS), grouped by small or large viewport and broad home, play or other page types. They do not include page URLs or interaction targets. Use Cookie preferences in the footer to change your choice. Supported browser privacy signals are respected.

Private activity and your choices

Room answers stay private during play. Account tools such as learning classrooms, notes and photos use access checks. Classroom organisers can see member display names and assignment results. Use the profile’s account deletion control for your account and associated private activity. Contact hello@funquizzy.com with privacy questions.
